Press Release:– In commemoration of Saint Lucia’s Youth Month 2018 the St. Lucia National Youth Council (SLNYC) alongside the Department of Youth Development and Sports will be hosting the 2018 Youth Festival. The Youth Festival is set to be a culmination of youth talent, creativity and innovation, and an avenue for expression and education for the young people of Saint Lucia and is scheduled for Friday 20th April 2018 at the Derek Walcott Square, Castries from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The Festival will comprise of a where the ingenious abilities of Saint Lucia’s youth will be put on display as well as various on stage performances from Tori Elle, Brandon Harding, Ezra De’ Fun Machine and Mighty and Surbance as well as many more of Saint Lucia’s best.
We also anticipate the presence of some of our youth developed brands including; Tifi Zouk, Sugah Faces, Celes Designs, MakeupwithAlli, Heart of Ankara, Archi Kouture, Bel Koule, Ah! Frikan Organics, Next Gen Artistry and many more.
The purpose of the Youth Festival is to engage young people of interest in non-conventional fields, to provide an avenue for the youth to express their talents and to provide opportunity for institutions with young persons as their target group to give information about products and services.
St. Lucia National Youth Council is elated to be hosting this activity as part of Saint Lucia Youth Month 2018 and to be working with some of Saint Lucia’s most talented youth to share and expose their talent.
