WASCO begins Dam maintenance operation

A local environmentalist believes the Water and Sewerage Company (WASCO) acted too slowly in dealing with the 2015 drought.
Denys Springer says if the company had started taking action to thwart a water crisis at the start of the year, it would not be in full drought management mode today.
The environmentalist says WASCO failed to take proactive measures to mitigate the situation.
