Vaccination Week Gets A Shot In The Arm

Its vaccination week in the Americas – seven days set aside by the Pan American health organisation (PAHO) to educate countries across the hemisphere about the importance of vaccinations.

The 14^th annual observance began on April 23^rd and will end on April 30^th.

This year’s theme is “go for gold -get vaccinated”, and in Saint Lucia, health officials are unveiling important changes to the vaccination schedules for children from birth to seven years.
