There was an overwhelming response from the St. Lucian public to the free medical service on offer from the medical staff of the us navy ship comfort.
The first day of operations attracted persons in the thousands to the two land clinics, as well as the services on the ship.
Ahead of the commencement of service, an official opening ceremony was held.
