TWO HELD IN REPORTED DRUG BUST, INVESTIGATIONS ONGOING

A female customs official a and a male civilian are reportedly in police custody following  drug-related charges.

According to sources, the arrests were facilitated during an operation executed  by the Gang, Narcotics, and Firearms Unit (GNFU) of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF).

Information on this development is still unfolding and the RSLPF is expected to issue a formal statement on the incident at a later time.

The two individuals are also expected to be formally charged later this week.
