TWO DEAD IN DENNERY FATAL SHOOTING

Gunmen opened fire on an SUV in Grande Ravine, Dennery, on Saturday, September 20, resulting in two fatalities and raising Saint Lucia’s homicide count to 58 for the year.

Police reported that the first incident occurred at about 11 a.m.

Hours later, another male victim fell victim to a separate shooting.

Officers remain on the scene of the second incident and believe that the two shootings are connected

. One of the victims, 26-year-old Sherwin Malcom Augustine, a resident of Dennery Village, succumbed to gunshot injuries to his chest.

Investigations are ongoing into this latest shooting incident.
