Saint Lucia joined Caribbean and Latin American nations in testing the region’s tsunami warning and detection systems.
On March 21st, the countries participated in a massive tsunami drill, referred to as Carib Wave 2017.
Local emergency officials say the exercise tested the efficiency of communication links, disaster management and at-risk communities.
