Transport Minister Defends Fuel Tax Hike

The economic development minister has come to the Defense of his government’s decision to increase the excise tax on fuel.
During the presentation of the appropriation bill, it was revealed that the current tax of $2.50 would increase by 60% to $4.00, representing an additional $1.50.
