ST. LUCIA’S KIMANI MELIUS CALLED TO WEST INDIES B TEAM

St. Lucia’s Kimani Melius has been selected to represent the West Indies B team.

According to reports, the 17 year old was called by Cricket West Indies officials, and is said to tour Canada this summer for T20 and 50 overs cricket.

Kimani has played for Saint Lucia’s senior team, and has represented West Indies in the Under-16’s cricket tour of England. He holds the record for the highest individual score ever in Saint Lucia, having hit 275 in a school’s match in 2015.

He also represented the West Indies youth team in the ICC Under-19 World Cup earlier this year.
