St. Lucian Titus Leo receives football scholarship

St. Lucian born Titus Leo has committed to Wagner College in New York after receiving a football scholarship from the institution. According to online reports, his achievement came after impressing the Sheepshead Bay High-School football team. Titus is 6 feet 4 inches, weighs 230 pounds and plays as an outside linebacker. According to his sister Keresser Leo, he has been “pushing and dedicating his time and energy into perfecting his skill” for the past four years.

On his acquisition, Wagner College’s football coach said, “We are excited to add a talented local player in Titus to our program. He has great size and range at the linebacker position and is both a ball hawk and a physical tackler. He will be someone who will be fun to watch in our defense.”

In St. Lucia, Titus resided in the community of Union Terraces, Gros-Islet and attended the Carmen Rene Memorial School. He left for the US whilst in fifth grade.
