ST LUCIA MAKING GOOD ON PROMISE TO BAN PLASTICS AND SYTROFOAM

The government of St. Lucia is making good on a 2018 promise to phase out and eventually ban the use of plastics and styro-foam.  Last year, sustainable development minister Dr. Gale Rigobert said that government viewed plastics and styro-foam as having a negative impact on both the environment and human health. Ministry officials told HTS News4orce on Friday, that they are on course to meet their targets.
