ST. LUCIA FIRE SERVICE RESPONDS TO CRITICAL PROPELLER STRIKE AT LA TOC WATERFRONT

The Saint Lucia Fire Service has confirmed responding to that critical maritime emergency Wednesday in the Castries waters. First responders were immediately deployed to the capital where a male swimmer was casualty evacuated after being struck by a motorized vessel. The victim sustained severe injuries to both legs and was rushed to a local hospital for urgent medical intervention.
