Soufriere, St Lucia- The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of the Soufriere Regional Development Foundation (SRDF), would like to extend heartfelt condolences to the family of Clevana Nicholas who recently passed away. Miss Nicholas was a long serving member of staff of the SRDF.
Miss Nicholas entered the doors of the then Soufriere Development Program (SDP) on March 15th, 1988 as a Receptionist. She later joined the newly formed SRDF in 1995 where she served in served in numerous roles in varying capacities. At the time of her passing she served as the Office Administrator.
According to Executive Director, Mr. Jimmy Haynes, “Clevana Nicholas was like a mother to all of us and was concerned about the happenings at the SRDF. Though she could be very stern about certain things especially with office supplies, she had a soft side to her. Miss Nicholas did things at her own pace. She was a great individual, not very outspoken but was generous with advice. Miss Nicholas was a good and loyal friend to the end. She will be missed and long remembered as the matriarch in the organisation.”
May her family, friends, acquaintances and all who loved her, find the strength to cope with her sudden passing.
