SLTU QUESTIONS ‘RUSH’ TO HALT SCHOOL SPANKINGS

The National Principals Association and the St. Lucia Teachers Union are calling on the government to reconsider its decision to suspend corporal punishment in schools. The call is being made on the heels of cabinet’s endorsement of the move to suspend and eventually abolish school spankings.
