SLP TO SCRAP EXERCISE TAX ON FUEL IF ELECTED

The Saint Lucia labor party has vowed to remove the $1.50 excise tax on fishermen, if elected at the next general elections. Opposition leader Philip J. Pierre made the remarks at the party’s virtual presentation during the opening session of the annual delegates conference on the weekend.
