SLP RALLY DRAWS THOUSANDS OF PROTESTERS

Leader of the opposition, Philip J. Pierre is looking at a menu of options in the wake of the enactment of the covid-19 bill in the senate on Friday October 2nd 2020. Critics argue that the temporary swearing in of two independent senators without a proper quorum to ensure the passage of the bill violated the constitution and parliamentary procedure. The Castries east MP and political leader of the Saint Lucia Labor party, just before the start of a protest march on Sunday, said the SLP is conferring with its legal team.
