SLNT CRIES FOUL AFTER APPLICATION FOR PROTEST IS DENIED

The St. Lucia national trust was denied permission to stage a peaceful protest outside the prime minister’s office on Monday 17th august 2020. The request is against the backdrop of the controversy surrounding the CABOT St. Lucia queen’s chain lease. Director of the national trust Bishnu is crying foul, describing the denial by law enforcement for the demonstration as unconstitutional. However, authorities continue to maintain that a state of emergency is still in effect.
