SHORTAGE OF FARM LABOR A MAJOR ISSUE FOR FOOD PRODUCTION & SUPPLY

Agriculture Minister Alfred Prospere has revealed that a significant labor shortage on larger farms is affecting agricultural yields and overall food production. In response, the Ministry of Agriculture has allocated $600,000 this financial year to launch a food security initiative aimed at addressing the issue.
