National Security Minister, Hermangild Francis has expressed resolve to repair the building housing the nation’s crime lab.
He made the disclosure in an interview with the press on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of a forensic training exercise last Friday.
The Minister says the government will soon commence renovations on the lab. Officials have begun re-opening the lab under new management on a phased basis.
Francis reveals that the government will use its own finances to repair the facility. National Security Minister Francis also stated that the government was still looking for a joint public/private sector partnership in connection with the operations of the forensic lab.
