Saint Lucian Students White Coat Ceremony 2017

On Tuesday July 18th, five St. Lucian Medical students attending I-Shou University College of Medicine participated in the White Coat Ceremony marking the completion of the in-class studies of the medical program. Ms. Vashti Emmanuel, Ms. Sharna Henry, Ms. Melanie Griffith, Mr. Malan Edward and Mr. Peter-Jay Cherry will commence the clinical phase and be attached to the ADA University Hospital for 2 years. This is the third group of St. Lucian students to receive their white coats from I-Shou University. Also in attendance were Secretary of the Embassy of Saint Lucia, ROC,Taiwan, Ms. Amy Chen along and fellow St. Lucian students.

Earlier this year, Ms. Vernel Feloion from Kaoshiung Medical University and Ms Lynn Francis from China Medical University also received their White coats at their respective Universities. This accomplishment by the students brings them one step closer to graduating from the medical field.
