SAINT LUCIA & TAIWAN SIGN POLICE COOPERATION AGREEMENT

The governments of Saint Lucia and Taiwan have signed an agreement that paves the way for training for local police in areas such as white-collar crime and terrorism.

The Bi-Lateral agreement was signed by National Security Minister Senator Hermangild Francis and Taiwanese Ambassador Douglas Shen on Wednesday 31 January.

The signing coincides with an official visit by Taiwan’s Foreign Affairs Minister.
