Saint Lucia Ratifies Climate Change Accord

The Paris deal to slow climate change was signed by more than 170 countries at the United Nations on Friday.
Experts say this marks the most states to endorse an international agreement on day one and hope this will inspire swift implementation.
Caribbean leaders, who rallied around the “1.5 to stay alive” campaign ahead of the December 2015 climate talks, are celebrating the signing.
