A three-year experiment in local resilience is reaching its crescendo. The Saint Lucia National Conservation Fund (SLUNCF) gathered its final cohort of environmental stewards this Thursday to mark the end of a sub grant program that aimed to do more than just protect the land—it aimed to empower the people living on it.
