SAINT LUCIA CHURCH OFFICIAL WARY OF T&T COURT BUGGERY RULING

A representative of the Roman Catholic Church in Saint Lucia is hoping that last week’s landmark court ruling in Trinidad which decriminalizes buggery, does not spur similar action locally. Deacon Peter Fevrier says current trends show a wave of support across the Caribbean for rolling back buggery laws, but he says Saint Lucia remains a Christian nation and it’s time to get back to the bible.
