POLICE PROBE ALLEGED BUGGERY OF CASTRIES SOUTH MAN

Authorities are reportedly investigating the alleged sexual assault of a man in the Castries South Constituency.

Although details on the incident are murky, initial reports indicate that a group of men allegedly violated the victim.

The perpetrators could be facing charges of buggery, as police continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the purported sex offense.

It should be noted, that unlike other criminal offences, the law prohibits the publication of the names of both the accused and alleged victim in cases involving sexual offenses.

The only exception is by order of the court.
