PM Defends Hiring Ernst & Young

Prime minister and minister for finance Allen Chastanet is defending his administration’s decision to hire a private accounting and tax advisory firm to assist in budget planning.
The Chastanet administration enlisted the services of Ernst and Young in 2016 in the area of tax reform, however confirmation by government that the firm will have a hand in drafting the 2017/2018 budget is not sitting well in some quarters.
