Prime minister Allen Chastanet is scheduled to present a 1.7-billion-dollar budget in parliament on Wednesday. The government leader is expected to lay the estimates in the house amid the global economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Chastanet admits that the government has its work cut out for it in attempting to achieve the goals set out in the budget given the significant reduction in economic activity.
