UNDERWATER SCULPTURE PARK EXHIBITION SET FOR WEEKEND

The Ministry of Tourism says more than thirty sculptures, telling the story of the island’s history, will soon be installed off the West Coast — but before they go under, the public gets a first look on land this weekend. Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Heritage, Donalyn Vittet, says the project has been years in the making. The sculptures will eventually sit on the seabed, but the ministry is inviting anyone who can’t dive to experience the park on dry land first, at a free public exhibition running through the weekend. The exhibition runs Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Odsan Warehouse, opposite the Odsan Playing Field.
