PARLIAMENTARIANS DEBATE BORROWING

There were heated exchanges over borrowing at the first Sitting of the House of Assembly for 2018 on 13 February.

The House met to consider a motion that would authorize the Finance Minister to borrow sums not exceeding $55 million dollars from commercial banks for a period of six [6] months.
