OPM DEMANDS APOLOGY FROM ‘RAISE YOUR VOICE’

“Categorically false and fake news” are how the government’s senior communication officer calls a press release from NGO Raise Your Voice (Saint Lucia).

The organisation headed by Catherine Sealys in a May 2nd missive, alleged that the government would proceed to Parliament this week to amend the Millennium Heights Medical Complex act no. 1 of 2015.

This amendment according to Raise Your Voice would facilitate full privatization of the OKEU Hospital and the use of the Wellness Centre as a medical university.

Senior communications officer Nicole Mcdonald says this is far from the truth.

The press release further alleged that mental patients will be returned to their respective communities for community/family based mental healthcare, while those in need of hospitalization would be referred to the Victoria Hospital.

  1. It is time, high time that this woman “C.S.” be made to shut-up, or forced to do so legally till she
begin to speak the truth. For someone who is out only for some cheap recognition, certainly going about things the wrong way. She no doubt has Axes to grind and is blindly looking to the
near impossible tree to cut down, and in this process, may quite end up getting cut down herself.
