NEMO URGES PREPAREDNESS AHEAD OF HURRICANE SEASON

The June 1st start of the Atlantic hurricane season is drawing near and emergency officials want members of the public to step up preparedness. After an extremely deadly 2017 and an active 2018 season, weather forecasters are predicting a near to slightly above-normal season in 2019, with 12 to 14 named storms. The National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) is warning the public against waiting until June to be prepared.
