Met Office Advises Viligance This Hurricane Season

On the eve of what weather experts forecast will be a ‘near normal’ 2016 Atlantic hurricane season, the Saint Lucia met services is urging nationals to remain vigilant.
Rising sea levels add to the vulnerability of coastal levels to flooding from storms and research indicates that climate change is resulting in more intense hurricanes.
Met officials say preparation is key and the hurricane season is always a time for heightened vigilance.
