MEETINGS TO DISCUSS INFLUX OF SARGASSUM SEAWEED

The east coast communities of Praslin, Dennery, Micoud and Savannes Bay are once again battling an invasion of sargassum seaweed.

As a consequence, the Fisheries Department will from next week host a series of meetings with fishermen and a cross-section of the communities to discuss the way forward.
