Media Members Tour Marine Protected Areas

Members of the local media recently got a firsthand view of one of the island’s most scenic protected area. The Saint Lucia National Trust hosted the press personnel on a tour of the Pointe Sable Environmental Area, which boasts a wildlife reserve, three marine reserves, a nature reserve, historical sites and a national landmark. Trust officials say it was important means of showing media workers the role of protected areas in biodiversity conservation.
