March 21st 2016 WASCO Dam Shutdown Reminder

The water and sewage company (WASCO) is reminding the public that it will shut down the water supply network in the north of St. Lucia on Tuesday march 22nd, 2015.
This will facilitate repairs to the raw water line from the john Compton dam to the Theobalds treatment plant at Ciceron.
The fact that the John Compton dam will be shut down on world water day is not lost on many members of the public and WASCO officials say it’s an opportunity to reflect on the gravity of St. Lucia’s water woes.
