The local equine association wants to engage in dialogue with authorities to draft policy and designate zoning to allow horse riding.
The request comes in light of an accident where a horse trampled a 5-year old last Sunday. Reportedly under the advice of the equine association, the implicated rider has surrendered to law enforcement.
Meanwhile, discharged from hospital, the injured toddler is recovering at home.
