Laborie Street Named After Beloved Governor General

The village of Laborie has honoured an outstanding daughter of the soil – governor general her Excelency Dame Pearlette Louisy.
On Sunday September 10th, the decorated and celebrated head of state unveiled the dame Pearlette Louisy drive in Laborie.
Organizers and community members say it is part of a mission to pay tribute to an icon and national treasure.
