Keeping irrigation sites alive

Meanwhile, the minister for agriculture Moses Jn Baptiste visited the irrigation sites in St. Lucia last week as bone-dry conditions of the searing dry spell continues to take a toll on farmlands.
He says a determined effort is underway to ensure these fields do not become fallow.
The purpose of the visit was to evaluate ways to maximize the use of the infrastructure at the sites to increase food production.
