January 12th 2016 VH Makes Another Case On Smoking – COPD Link

Consultant physician at victoria hospital Dr. Martin Didier has added his voice to a recent health warning about a link in the rise in COPD cases and the use of marijuana and tobacco.
Dr. Lisa Charles had earlier admonished those who mix marijuana and tobacco.
Health officials believe it’s the leading cause of an epidemic in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in Saint Lucia.
COPD includes two main illnesses – chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
