International Womens Day 2017 Observances Launched

While March 8th is observed annually as international women’s day, Saint Lucia will extend its observance to a month-long series of activities.
Those events kicked off on Sunday March 5th, with a church service in the south.
The international theme is ‘be bold for change,’ and gender relations minister Dr. Gale Rigobert says the legal system must be part of that change.
