UnitedPac – a local conservative group affiliated with the incumbent United Workers Party [UWP] leveled allegations at Saint Lucia Labour Party [SLP] Senator Joachim Henry for “…mismanagement of funds…” reportedly linked to the National Lotteries Authority [NLA].
In an August 10 statement, UnitedPac charged Sen. Henry with abuse of authority and alleged that he used his position as Executive Director of the Saint Lucia Social Development Fund [SSDF] to gain “inside information” on NLA programmes.
Sen. Henry hit back on August 15 during an SLP press conference and flatly denied the UnitedPac accusations. [Watch video]
The SLP Candidate for Castries South East issued a rejoinder of his own at UnitedPac and the UWP urging them to show proof of alleged wrongdoing.
