Home Affairs Minister Denies Knowledge of Jimmy Henry Police Probe

Home Affairs and National Security Minister Senator Hermangild Francis has denied knowledge of an alleged police investigation of Cabinet colleague, Senator Jimmy Henry.
 
The Home Affairs Minister dismissed the assertions first reported by former government Minister Richard Frederick on July 6th during a live weekly talk show.
 
Sen. Jimmy Henry, the Minister in the Ministry of Agriculture, was allegedly intercepted at the Airport by law enforcement personnel on suspicion of carrying a significant sum of undeclared cash.
 
On July 11th Sen. Francis offered a brief comment to HTS News4orce on the brewing controversy, suggesting political mischief to be the underlying motive. [Watch video]
 
Meanwhile Sen. Jimmy Henry has continued to sidestep the issue refusing comment.
