GOV’T TO HAND CHUNKS OF OLD DEREK WALCOTT SQUARE TO SLNT

Government Officials say they are doing all in their power to preserve Saint Lucia’s patrimony. To this end, the government plans to handover the exterior walls of the Derek Walcott Square to the Saint Lucia National Trust. The public space is undergoing a major makeover. The Permanent Secretary in the Tourism Ministry, made this disclosure during a walk-through of the square with Prime Minister Allen Chastanet on Wednesday morning.
