GOV’T LAUNCHES ISLAND-WIDE NETWORK

The government of Taiwan is helping Saint Lucia to launch island wide internet access.

Known as Government Island Wide Network (GINET), the project hopes to development a wireless local area network in public areas, providing residents and visitors with free or low-cost internet access. 

It was officially launched on January 24th.
