GOV’T BORROWS MORE MONEY FOR COVID 19 RELIEF

Prime minister Allen Chastanet claims the us $30 million dollar loan from the international development association is not new borrowing.

Word last week that the government was heading to parliament for the approval of more loans to fund covid-19 relief and finance the operations of government raised a few eyebrows.

However Chastanet sought to allay the fears of the public in an interview with the press outside parliament building on Tuesday.
