Government Issues Statement On Wind Tex Farm Project

The sustainable development ministry led by Dr. Gale Rigobert on Friday issued a statement on the pull out of Wind Tex energy last January.
The U.S based wind energy Development Company withdrew when the Allen Chastanet led cabinet did not accede to land acquisition requests to continue wind energy tests at Dennery.
Dr. Rigobert says the Wind Tex departure was ‘astonishing’ and claimed the government did express commitment to the project.
