FRENCH PROVIDE FORENSIC TRAINING TO POLICE

French authorities have concluded a round of forensic training for local police and forensic lab personnel.

The forensics: technical and scientific investigation” training course was conducted by the French Inter-Ministerial Center for Anti-Drug Training (CIFAD), with support from the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force.

National Security Minister Hermangild Francis says the training will help hone participants’ forensic and investigative skills.

Francis says the training is timely as the lab will soon undergo renovations. He says government will foot the bill for the overhaul and will not be seeking outside support.
