[Press Release] Club GAR is set to host its fifth annual Walk 4 A Cause on Sunday June 3rd, 2018.
The event will start from the Vigie roundabout at 6.30 am and will continue along the John Compton Highway, ending at the Club grounds at Bois d’Orange.
The cause chosen for this year is the St. Lucia Blind Welfare Association, an institution that has provided decades of unmatched service to the nation’s visually impaired and now required our support to continue its mission.
Dame Pearlette Louisy, patron of the Blind Welfare Association during her tenure as our Governor General, continues to hold this cause close to her heart and has provided her full endorsement of the activity.
Registration is $30 for adults, $25 for children under 12.
Teams comprising a minimum of 10 members also pay a reduced fee of $25 dollars per participant.
Registration can be done at the Digicel Experience store on William Peter Boulevard, Blue Monkey Castries and Rodney Bay, Bread Basket, Steve’s Barber Shop and from Club GAR members.
