FISHERIES TO TACKLE SEAWEED INFESTATION HEAD ON

The influx of sargassum seaweed on Saint Lucia’s shores will be dealt with on a national level. So says the Department of Fisheries.
HTS News4orce spoke to the Deputy Chief Fisheries Officer Thomas Nelson on tuesday.
He informed our news desk that the department has taken note of the development and is putting measures in place to deal with the problem.
