FELIX ON FUEL PRICE CAP REVIEW

The Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Commerce Bradley Felix, has sought to explain the rationale behind a review of the cap on the price of fuel at the pumps.

Felix says the continuing increase in the price of petroleum products has put a dent in the Allen Chastanet government’s plans, prompting them to reconsider the $12.75 cap against the backdrop of a $1.50 increase in the fuel excise tax.
